I’ve been highlighting my favourite nail polishes for fall and will continue to do so later this week. But let’s take a moment and discuss fall lip colours. Just like you transition your clothes and accessories, I like to transition my lip colours.
Keep reading to find out what my favourite lip colours are, both lipsticks and lip glosses.
Covergirl Lip Perfection in Romance – One of my latest additions to my overflowing lipstick collection. This is a great 90’s nude colour – a bit of brown added into a pinky-nude. Perfect everyday colour or pair with a smokey eye.
Covergirl Lip Perfection in Smitten – Another great find from Covergirl. This is a pretty unique shade in my collection – a mauve-berry colour. I love this with a simple cat eye and a berry blush.
Estée Lauder Pure Color in Pinkberry – A lovely friend of mine gave this lipstick to me as she wasn’t using it anymore. Love at first swatch. A creamy, shiny pink-nude. It feels amazing on the lips. Another great everyday lip colour.
MAC Lipstick in Viva Glam Rihanna – Fall = red lipstick (to me at least). This one is a brighter, creamier red colour. Even though it is a cool toned red, I find it pulls a bit warm on my skin tone. Great for the times where you want a red lip but not a vampy one.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace – This is from the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction collection (which as a huge fan of the movie was a must have). A deep, super pigmented true red is absolutely stunning. I pull this out when I want that bold, red lip look that is typically paired with a bronze or simple eye.
Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss in Audace – I spoke about this in my recent Favourites post but had to mention it again. A unique brown-mauve shade. Amazing pigmentation for a gloss. Lasts a long time and is not sticky at all. Plus I feel cool when I whip out a Chanel product that kind of looks like something a spy would own.
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige – Hands down one of my favourite lip products for anytime of the year. Some days you don’t want to rock a dark lip and just want something easy. A ‘my lips but better’ shade that adds just a bit of shine to your look. It’s so versatile you can basically wear it with any look.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Prague – This is a stunning matte berry colour. With multiple layers, the darker it looks on your lips. Can be a bit drying so always have a lip balm close by. I recently posted a picture of me wearing this on Instagram.
What are some of your favourite fall lip colours?
