Holiday Gift Ideas: Stocking Stuffers

The second of my Holiday Gift Ideas posts has to deal with stocking stuffers. Think small. Mainly so you can fill a stocking even more! These are actually some things I picked up at Sephora this weekend for myself using the $20 off $50 coupon. I realized when I got home – hey these are all small things! I should put them in my stocking…..except that I’ve already used most of them!

Travel Sized Skincare

Remember, think small. Why not go through the checkout line at Sephora or the travel section of Target or Shoppers? It’s a great way for someone to try out a new product for a fraction of the price. I personally picked up the Fresh Seaberry Face Oil to battle the woes of winter induced dry skin. Instead of spending $59 on the regular size, I’m able to test drive this (again) for only $22.

This is great for that person who is constantly travelling, unless you are like me and have a huge container of “travel products” that is completely and utterly full.

Travel Sized Makeup

Christmas is the time that you can find adorable makeup products. This lipstick duo from Bite Beauty is a perfect example. Instead of buying the $29 full sized lipstick (which would still fit in a stocking, ahem), this duo retails for $15! Also look for little eyeshadow duos or tiny lip glosses – I know Quo has these cool cracker-type gifts that feature an eyeshadow duo and a complementary gloss (you can find those at Shoppers…I received them as a gift already!).

Perfect gift for the girl who loves to go out at night. Perfect size for her clutch!

Small Gift Sets

Sure there are tons of large, gigantic gift sets during the holidays but those are better suited for under the tree. This small gift set from Sephora features a full sized Rouge Infusion plus a travel size one for $11 (a full size retails for $18). You can also make your own small gift set featuring a drugstore lipstick, hand cream and small candle from Bath and Body Works (or any combination you like). Make sure it’s coloured coordinated and wrap it in an organza bag then pop it in the stocking.

This is really perfect for anyone that loves to try a variety of products or various shades of a product.

So remember, think small. There are tons of small sized beauty products that can easily fit into a stocking hung by the chimney with care.

Keep an eye out for my last Holiday Gift Ideas post with a review on the Sephora Give Me Some Lip kit.

til next time….
