Vichy Idéalia Skincare Review*

Vichy Idealia Skincare Review

I am always on the hunt for new skincare products that will hydrate my skin and make it look smooth and subtle while making my skin tone even. So when I had the opportunity to try the Vichy Idéalia Skincare line, I was very excited. I had tried the serum in the past and really liked how it felt on my skin.

The Idéalia line promises to transform skin regardless of skin type or ethnicity and features a serum, eye cream and overnight cream. Keep reading to hear my thoughts and also to enter a giveaway where you can win the serum and skin sleep.

Starting with the two products I have really put to the test – the serum and skin sleep. The Idealia Life Serum helps to even skin tone, refine the pores and make you look more rested. All of this is done by a correcting complex [LR2412+LHA] and 8/10 women found that it changed the appearance of their skin within 8 days. Now while I can’t see if overly transformed my skin while using it, my skin isn’t dry or looks greasy when I use it. Also, it doesn’t break out my skin and has become a staple in my skincare routine.

In terms of the Skin Sleep, it is a recovery nighttime gel-balm. You can apply this balm in a thick layer and allow it to soak in over 10-15 minutes or you can apply a thin layer as your nighttime moisturizer. Within Skin Sleep there is hyaluronic acid (hydrates), glycyrrhizic acid (protects hyaluronic acid from being broken down), repairing oils rich in omegas (restore barrier functions), vitamin B3 (anti-inflammatory), caffeine (stimulates micro-circulation and drainage) and LHA (exfoliates the skin). This is a great moisturizer for someone with dry or normal skin. I even think that it would be good in the winter for someone with oily skin as it is so light and soaks right into the skin. My skin feels great the next morning after using it and I don’t suffer from any dry patches now. If you have very dry skin, definitely top it up with a facial oil during the winter to super charge your skin with hydration.

I’ve only recently started using the Idéalia Eyes and I have to admit that I’m not super picky about eye creams. As long as it hydrates the under eye area without irritating this sensitive skin, I’m a fan. It soaks in very nicely just like the serum and has a slight iridescence similar to the serum which gives your skin a glow before you even apply an ounce of makeup.

Now while I fortunate to receive the serum and skin sleep through Chick Advisor, I was even more fortunate to receive all 3 items through my Topbox a couple of months ago. I could keep the extra serum and skin sleep as backups but I really wanted to spread the love to all of you!

So I’ll be giving away the Vichy Idéalia Serum and Skin Sleep to a lucky reader! You can enter this contest until August 10th at 12:00AM. It is open internationally, just enter below!

I don’t really have a favorite right now. I love trying new products. I guess that I am still looking for my favorite.
