Safe Sun Care featuring Bioderma*

Bioderma Photoderm Sunscreen Review Bioderma Photoderm Apres Soleil Review

We are in the middle of summer which means spending lots of time outdoors and soaking in all the sun. But we all know that sun exposure can do damaging things – premature ageing and skin cancer. So while you are enjoying the weather, make sure to practice safe sun care by applying SPF liberally and often.

Bioderma is one of the brands I immediately think of when it comes to skincare so when I received sun care products to test out, I was impressed that Bioderma tackled this area as well.
The Photoderm SPF 40 Spray ($29.95) features both UVA and UVB protection all while being hydrating, non-greasy and easy to apply. The spray bottle definitely helps quickly apply the product, even those hard to reach areas. This sunscreen contains Cellular Bioprotection which is a biological patent that protects the skin from cellular damage and battles premature cutaneous ageing. It is a super light weight formulation that instantly soaks into the skin without leaving a white cast or looking greasy.

Now when I’ve used the sunscreen I haven’t gotten burnt but if I did I would totally end my day with the Photoderm Après-Soleil ($23.95). This product has a lotion-like consistency and is slightly cooling on the skin. It also features the Cellular Bioprotection to protect from cellular damage. The After-Sun milk soothes the skin after being in the sun, hydrates, and can help prolong a natural tan. It quickly absorbs into the skin and makes it feel smooth and moisturized.

Overall, I am very impressed with the sun care offerings from Bioderma – they work very well and make sure they provide more to the skin than just SPF. There are numerous other Sun Care products from Bioderma so make sure to check them out when stocking before your next beach trip!
