More photos have been uncovered from the depths of my “Blog Photos” folder. This time around I’m talking about two products I picked up from Flower Beauty at Walmart.
Flower Beauty is the makeup child of Drew Barrymore and is exclusively found at Walmart (aka it’s affordable!). I’ve been able to test these out for the past several months, so keep reading to see what I think.
First up is the Flower Beauty Color Play Creme Eyeshadow in Wild Geranium ($7.98). These cream eyeshadows contain Vitamin E and promise to be long wearing without creasing. I have to admit I am not a cream product fan in general. They can be messy and crease plus I find the wear time isn’t as good as a powder formulation. I featured this shadow in a recent makeup look and while I enjoy the look of it, the inconvenience of the cream formula steers me away from using it. The pigmentation is great, don’t get me wrong, but I just wish it was a powder eyeshadow.
Next, Flower Beauty Win Some, Rouge Some Creme Blush in Pure Petunia ($8.98USD). This cream blush is a cream-to-powder blush which promises to be great for layering. Again, why did I buy a cream product?? Cream blushes don’t last on my skin very well, and this one was no different. The shade is a lovely pink-coral and is nicely pigmented while still blending into the skin seamlessly. If you love cream blushes, definitely try out a Flower Beauty one – great price, formula, and pigmentation.
Overall, I wasn’t disappointed with the products I purchased from Flower Beauty…I was disappointed in my choices. I would definitely give other products, more suitable products to my taste, a try.
Have you tried any products from Flower Beauty before? Any recommendations?
til next time…
