Makeup Look: Simplistic Shimmer

Simple Shimmery Makeup Look

While I was home for the holidays, I needed a quick makeup look for Boxing Day morning. I was up at the crack of dawn to trek over to the mall and scoop up some great deals but didn’t want to fuss with my makeup too much.

With my limited makeup I had brought back to my parents with me, I was able to quickly create this shimmery look with a winter appropriate lip. I loved the simplicity of this look that I wanted to share it with you all.

After applying my foundation and concealer, quickly dusted the light champagne shade of the Bare Minerals READY Eyeshadow 2.0 in The Top Shelf mixed with Champagne Pop from the Becca Champagne Glow Palette all over the lid. Then I added Pearl from the Becca palette to the inner corner of my eyes and on my brow bones. To add a bit of depth, I ran my Sephora Bronzer in Los Cabos in my crease with a fluffy crease brush. This is a great way to minimize the number of products you need by multitasking.

Once I did my brows and put on mascara, I applied some bronzer under my cheekbones, on my temples and along my hairline. Then I took my Elf Blush in Tickled Pink on my cheeks to add a natural flush. Using the Becca palette again, I mixed Pearl and Champagne Pop together and highlighted my cheekbones.

Finally, I used a new lipstick in my collection, gifted by my Secret Santa Sarah from Workaday Beauty, the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita. I love the shade of this lipstick and it was relatively comfortable to wear during my shopping excursion.

Love the Becca Glow Palette but haven’t gotten your hands on it? I’m giving one away for my 4 year blogiversary here!
