Mary Kay Pink Magnolia Sweet Lilac Misslyn Starfish Floral Ornament Swatch Review

I know. I’ve bombarded you with springtime polishes but there’s just so many great shades! I’m very seasonal when it comes to my polish preferences, just like I am with wine. Once the weather starts warming up, I want lighter and brighter colours. These 4 new offerings from Mary Kay and Misslyn are great picks.

Mary Kay Sweet Lilac ($9.50) – This one is a bit confusing for it’s name. While it’s named Sweet Lilac, it’s actually a light blue-toned grey shade. A great alternative to the typical spring shades this applied very nicely with 2/3 coats needed to reach full opacity without streaking.

Misslyn Starfish ($9.99) – Bright shades, like this true coral, are great to brighten up your beauty routine. This would also look awesome on your toes once you bust out your sandals. Application was a dream and needed 2 coats to make it perfect on the nails.

Misslyn Floral Ornament ($9.99) – Lastly, nude polishes are great anytime of the year but they just seem more right for spring. This nude is a darker shade and is relatively neutral in tone. Two coats are all you need for this shade as well.

Misslyn polishes are available at Shoppers Drug Mart and Mary Kay can be found on their website.

It’s so perfect! Sometimes I’m not a fan of corals but this one will be in regular rotation once the weather is warmer.
