I love when brands want to support your creativity. Releasing interesting and unique colours and finishes is just the beginning when it comes to the CND Creative Play Nail Lacquers. They even included a Twister-like game for picking out your mani colours for each nail!
The CND Creative Play Nail Lacquers are 7-free which means they do not contain toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, phthalates, formaldehyde resin, xylene, and methyl ethyl ketone. They are also formulated with micronized pigments to ensure that the colour is extra vibrant. This line of polishes comes in 80 different shades, which means that the mix and match mani possibilities are endless. The polishes retail for $8.50.
I have swatched 8 of the 80 shades for you. As per usual, 2 coats were used for all swatches unless otherwise noted.
Bridechilla – This pearl finish light pink is a very sheer polish but a pretty one at that! It required 3 coats to achieve the opacity shown. This would be a great polish to apply over other lighter polishes (like white or pale pink) to add a bit of depth.
Orchid You Not – This vibrant purple shade is so pretty and perfect for spring and summer. Super easy to apply with nice pigmentation.
Flash-ion Forward (over Orchid You Not) – This is such a fun glitter top coat! With mainly blue glitters (that can also reflect orange/red) of different shapes, it’s a great way to add some fun sparkle to any mani. I applied two coats of glitter on each nail.
Dazzleberry – This fuchsia shimmer shade with blue glitter throughout is really fun and just screams summer! Once you put a top coat on, you remove the uneven texture you can see in the photo below.
Skinny Jeans – Wow. Look at this stunning blue polish! Amazing pigmentation and cream finish. It is a bit of a pain to clean up around the cuticles but worth it!
Toe the Lime – This is my favourite of the 8 polishes within this post. Hands down. What a fun lime green shade! Amazing pigmentation and cream finish. Also gives off that gel mani vibe without the complicated process.
Taxi, Please – A bold, but not too bold of a yellow. Very reminiscent of a NYC taxi. Great pigmentation, especially for a yellow polish with no issues of streaking.
Black & Forth – Need a black nail polish? This one is pretty great. Fantastic pigmentation and glossy finish. Probably one of the best black polishes I have tried in awhile.
