Last Minute Nail Art featuring Essie

Easy Abstract Nail Art Design Essie

When I knew that I would be attending an Essie event that was hosting designer Rebecca Minkoff and their own Global Lead Educator and Nail Artist Rita Remark, I knew that my nails had to be on point.

So what did I do the night before the event? I had to pick a statement nail design that takes only a few minutes to create. I decided on the dry brushing technique to create an easy abstract nail art design. Of course I had to delve into my Essie collection for this mani as well.

For this last minute design, I started with a darker base (Carry On) and allowed the 2 coats I applied to dry for about 10 minutes. Then I started dry brushing with two lighter shades (Hubby for Dessert and Sand Tropez) alternating coats to build up the colour and depth of the look. Finally I wanted to add a bit of shine to the look so I dry brushed with a stunning glitter polish (On a Silver Platter).

I allowed this to dry for a few minutes then put a top coat on.
